Eighty Four, PA- The Washington County Community Foundation recently awarded $216,177 in need-based lifelong learning grants, made possible by corporate contributions received through the Pennsylvania Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit Program and the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program.
Grants supported students attending a pre-kindergarten, elementary, or secondary school of their choosing that had been pre-approved under the tax credit programs.
Bishop Canevin High School received $13,000; Calvary Chapel Christian School received $11,400; Central Christian Academy received $6,300; Cornerstone Christian Preparatory Academy, Wilson Campus received $16,800; Faith Christian School of Washington received $12,600; John F. Kennedy Catholic School received $1,731; Madonna Catholic Regional School received $22,346; and Seton-La Salle Catholic High School received $132,000.
