Community Foundation Awards Over $155K in Lifelong Learning Grants

The Washington County Community Foundation recently awarded $156,206 in need-based lifelong learning grants, made possible by corporate contributions received through the Pennsylvania Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit Program and the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program.

The WCCF recently awarded $250,000 in capacity-building grants to 23 organizations from a variety of component funds. Capacity-building is defined as any activity that increases the nonprofit’s operational, programmatic, financial, or organizational maturity.

Local Couple Makes $50,000 Contribution to the GIVE Washington County Fund

The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) is pleased to announce that spouses Kris Drach and Chuck Kreuzer are the first EQT leaseholders to make a contribution to the GIVE Washington County Fund. Their $50,000 gift was matched dollar for dollar by the EQT Foundation.
