The Washington County Community Foundation recently awarded $156,206 in need-based lifelong learning grants, made possible by corporate contributions received through the Pennsylvania Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit Program and the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program.

The WCCF recently awarded $250,000 in capacity-building grants to 23 organizations from a variety of component funds. Capacity-building is defined as any activity that increases the nonprofit’s operational, programmatic, financial, or organizational maturity.

Eighty Four, PA – The Washington County Community Foundation recently awarded $170,000 in grants from the Community CARE Fund to 11 community-based libraries in Washington County.

The WCCF recently presented presidential awards to two local charities. Washington Christian Outreach received the President’s Crystal Award and Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern Pennsylvania received the President’s Silver Award.

The Washington County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that it has initiated the Community PILLARS charity governance certificate program to help improve the governance practices of charities in Washington County

The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) is pleased to announce that spouses Kris Drach and Chuck Kreuzer are the first EQT leaseholders to make a contribution to the GIVE Washington County Fund. Their $50,000 gift was matched dollar for dollar by the EQT Foundation.
