The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) is accepting applications through August 1 for its President’s Choice Award, which includes a $10,000 unrestricted grant from the Foundation’s Acorn Fund.

The WCCF recently awarded a $100,000 grant to the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum (PTM) in support of the Museum’s $17 million On Track for the Future capital campaign. The grant was issued from the Foundation’s Acorn Fund, a pooled fund that accepts contributions from many separate donors.

The Washington County Community Foundation recently awarded a $20,000 grant to the Greater Washington County Food Bank to improve the ventilation in the kitchen of its Healthy Habits Training Center (HHTC).

The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) is currently accepting nominations for its Dr. Howard Jack Outstanding Public Educator Award, which includes a $1,000 grant to the educational program of the recipient’s choice.

The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) recently awarded a $40,000 unrestricted grant to the Brownson House. The grant was awarded from the Harold and Enes Hockett Fund and the John and Thelma Curtis Fund.

The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) is pleased to announce a special $150,000 grants program from its Community CARE Fund (CCF) to support independent, community-based libraries in Washington County, as the libraries work to reopen after the pandemic.
