The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) is seeking applications for $35,000 in grants available through its final competitive grant cycle of 2020. Seven grants of $5,000 each will be awarded, with the grantees announced in late October.

WCCF Announces 25 Charity of Excellence Honorees
Today, by video, the Washington County Community Foundation announced the 25 local non-profit organizations named as a Charity of Excellence in honor of the WCCF’s 25th anniversary in 2020. Each honoree will receive an unrestricted grant of at least $5,000 and have the opportunity to vie for the Charity of Excellence top prize of $25,000 and a People’s Choice Award ($5,000) later this year.

More than $130,000 Awarded from Range Resources Good Neighbors Fund at WCCF
Thirty-five local first responder organizations have received grants totaling more than $130,000 from the Range Resources Good Neighbors Fund at the Washington County Community Foundation. The grants will help purchase a variety of items including rescue tools, personal protective equipment, and firearms, as well as support critical facility upgrades.
