Community Foundation Partners with Tourism Agency in Support of PONY World Series

The Washington County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that it is partnering with the Washington County Tourism Promotion Agency, an affiliate of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, to support World Series Tournaments for its upcoming 2021 Dick’s Sporting Goods PONY World Series. Both the Community Foundation and the Tourism Agency will provide grants of $35,000 each, for a total of $70,000.

Community Foundation to Award $250,000 in Capacity-Building Grants

The WCCF is currently accepting applications for capacity-building grant requests. Capacity-building is defined as any activity that increases the non-profit’s operational, programmatic, financial, or organizational maturity.

The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) recently awarded a $25,000 grant to Food Helpers, the umbrella organization for the Greater Washington County Food Bank. The grant will be used to implement the Here to Help Marketing Plan of Food Helpers.

The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) has completed its post-secondary scholarship cycle for 2021, awarding 75 scholarships totaling $288,650.
