Eighty Four, PA – The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) is currently seeking applications from local nonprofits for grants from the GIVE Washington County Fund. Grant requests may be submitted from any nonprofit, governmental or educational institution providing charitable services in Washington County.
This is a flexible grant opportunity, with no prescribed purpose for the grant requests. However, requests for general operating support or routine program support will not be considered. A total of $10,000 will be awarded this year. Nonprofit organizations who would like to be considered for a grant should apply by October 1 via www.wccf.net. The GIVE Washington County Fund was created at the WCCF in 2023 by EQT to serve as a resource for Washington County nonprofits to help evolve their missions and sustain the important work they do for our community. To encourage its landowners to contribute, EQT has pledged to match up to $10,000 per land lease for contributions to the Fund. The amount of the annual grants will increase as the value of the Fund grows.
