The Ringgold Alumni Scholarship Fund was initiated by the Monongahela High School Class of 1950. Since 1995, the Class of 1950 has been awarding annual scholarships to deserving graduating seniors of Ringgold High School.
The Class voted to change the name of the scholarship to the Ringgold Alumni Scholarship Fund to encourage all alumni from Monongahela High School, Donora High School, and Ringgold High School to make contributions to the fund so that it could benefit more students from the community.
The Class also voted to place the fund with the WCCF to ensure its continued existence and to benefit from the charitable non‐profit tax exempt status of the Foundation.
The fund will be designated specifically for educational scholarships to worthy graduating seniors of Ringgold High School.
