Protection and Conservation of Natural Resources
Programs and Services
- Washington County Watershed Alliance, WCWA, is an all volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to protecting, preserving, and enhancing the many Waterways of Washington County.
- We organize educational events for all ages to encourage people to learn about our local natural resources and become partners in restoring them.
- We also organize creek clean up events, conduct regular stream water quality monitoring, and secure grant funding for stream restoration projects.
- WCWA represents all the major waterways of Washington County including Chartiers Creek, Ten Mile Creek, Buffalo Creek, Cross Creek, Wheeling Creek, Peters Creek, Mingo Creek, Pigeon Creek, Pike Run, Kings Creek, Harmon Creek and more!
