Programs and Services

  • Mission Statement: Warrior Wellness is dedicated to supporting veterans and first responders in their battle against the invisible wounds of PTSD. Through a unique combination of wellness and dog training activities in nonjudgmental environments, we strive to build social, mental, physical, and psychological skills that enrich lives and provide purpose to our community members.
  • Overview: Warrior Wellness understands that the journey to healing from PTSD can be challenging and multifaceted. That's why we offer a comprehensive program that combines therapeutic activities with the companionship and support of specially trained emotional support, therapy, and service dogs. Our organization provides a safe and supportive space where veterans and first responders can come together, share their experiences, and embark on a path towards healing and recovery.
  • Programs and Services:
  • Wellness Activities: We offer a variety of wellness activities tailored to the unique needs of our participants. These activities may include but are not limited to assistance with yoga, meditation, float tank therapy, business and sponsor visits, outdoor excursions, dog therapy, and more. Our goal is to promote holistic well-being and provide tools for managing stress, anxiety, PTSD, and mental illnesses in our community.
  • Dog Training: Our certified trainers work with both service dogs and participant-owned dogs to provide training in obedience, emotional support, and specialized tasks to assist with PTSD symptoms. Through positive reinforcement techniques, we empower our participants to build strong bonds with their canine companions and develop invaluable skills for managing their condition.
  • Support Groups: We facilitate regular support groups led by trained counselors and peer mentors, where participants can connect with others who understand their experiences. These groups provide a space for sharing stories, offering encouragement, and learning from one another in a nonjudgmental environment.
  • Community Events: We organize various community events, such as fundraisers, awareness campaigns, and volunteer opportunities, to engage with the broader community and raise awareness about the challenges faced by veterans and first responders with PTSD. These events also serve to foster a sense of belonging and camaraderie among our participants and supporters.
  • Impact: Through our programs and services, Warrior Wellness has positively impacted the lives of countless veterans and first responders, helping them to regain their independence, improve their quality of life, and rediscover their sense of purpose. By promoting healing, resilience, and community support, we are working towards a future where all those affected by PTSD can thrive.
  • Get Involved: Whether you're a veteran, first responder, dog lover, or compassionate supporter, there are many ways to get involved with Warrior Wellness. You can volunteer your time, donate funds or supplies, become a sponsor, or simply spread the word about our mission. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who have sacrificed so much for our safety and freedom.
