Mission
Provide support to build a campus in Western Pennsylvania to breed, raise, and train medical Service Dogs for those who suffer from visible and invisible disabilities including Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) or Post Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD) with special focus on men and women who are Veterans of United States Military Service.
Programs and Services
- Our primary goal is to facilitate the pairing of qualified Veterans with a Service Dogs. In order to achieve this goal LCSDFV raises funds to obtain Service Dogs for qualified Veterans and assist in the development of Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs new Washington County campus.
- Currently, the need exceeds the demand. The opening of the new campus will increase the availability of Service Dogs who have been shown, not only to assist with medical needs, but act as an effective deterrent to Veterans suicide.
