Mission

The primary purpose of Achieva is to coordinate and manage the services and operations of the Agency.

Programs and Services

  • Achieva is a leading provider of Advocacy and Family Supports programs for people with disabilities and their families in western Pennsylvania. These programs have always been a foundational component of Achieva.
  • Achieva provides the following services and supports to families and individuals with disabilities in the Washington County area.
  • Achieva Advocacy and Family Support - Supports individuals and families with a disability in navigating educational, medical, government, and adult service systems. People with disabilities have the right to access quality education and community services to which they are entitled.
  • Achieva Family Trust - Offers three types of special needs trusts. Each trust allows you to preserve your funds to pay for future necessities like home modifications, adapted vehicles and specialized treatments or medications while preserving eligibility for lifelong supports and services. Achieva Family Trust also provides benefits counseling to assist guide people with disabilities in maximizing their earning potential while maintaining their vital government benefits.
  • Autism Connection of PA: Serves thousands of families, professionals, and adults seeking help for autism questions and concerns. Autism Connection staff provide assistance for autism services through text, email and phone support on issues such as school, culture, bullying, arts and justice issues.
  • Achieva Early Intervention - For over 45 years Achieva has offered therapeutic programs support to thousands of families and children with disabilities or delays from birth to three, including infant massage, physical therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy.
